Our story began in 2022 when James was flying the Boeing 787 for British Airways to Mexico City. What started as a first date quickly became something much more, with every work trip to Mexico becoming another chance to spend time together.

As our relationship grew, so did the number of air miles. Angie would fly to England whenever she could, spending her holidays exploring Windsor, cheering James on at his running races, and making every goodbye just a little bit harder.

It felt only right that the next chapter would begin where so many of our memories had been made. On a hike to the top of a mountain just outside Mexico City a place Angie had first taken James on one of our very first dates James got down on one knee.

With a bottle of champagne, a packet of Percy Pigs, (Angie’s favourite candy from the UK!) and after nervously asking Angie’s parents for their blessing in Spanish the week before, he asked the easiest question of his life.

She said yes.

Now, we’re so excited to celebrate the next adventure with all of the people we love most. Thank you for being part of our story we can’t wait to make even more memories together here in Oaxaca this weekend.
